OK, so we have been a bit quiet on the blog front. Truth be told, we have been super-busy since we launched back in September, attending wedding shows all over Norfolk, showing off The Little Horse Box in all its glory and meeting happy couples and wedding suppliers along the way.

The reaction to The Little Horse Box has been phenomenal. We couldn’t possibly have predicted this. People have been blown away by its beauty and are eager to learn more about what we do. When designing the horse box, I always thought it would be the women who liked it most, but what’s surprised us more than anything is that it’s the men who seem to fall in love and are often the ones keen to book!

If I could have a pound for every time a couple came past and said how cute The Little Horse Box was, I would never need to work again! We’ve met some of our Instagram followers and one bride squealed out loud when she saw us, as she had been following our journey from the beginning. Talking to couples and hearing about their stories is something that I love. One adventurous bride-to-be was even planning a fairground-inspired wedding, with all the fun of the fair. Imagine being a lucky guest at that wedding!

Plus, we have met some seriously talented wedding suppliers on our travels around the wedding fairs. We couldn’t possibly keep them to ourselves, so here are some of Norfolk’s finest… Thanks for keeping us company everyone!

We met friends and professional photographers Jamie and Mike at Thursford Wedding Show with EDP Weddings. I like the fact that when you book them, you get two for the price of one, with both Jamie and Mike taking pictures on the day. These guys were just so sweet, even capturing some shots of The Little Horse Box for us. So relaxed and easy-going, I love their laid-back photography style (ideal for rustic, vintage-style weddings that are really popular right now), and their wedding portfolio is simply stunning. Not something I would have thought about before. That is, until I met these guys at one of the wedding shows we attended together. But, what a great idea to have a hot tub at your wedding, hen or stag do! I can just imagine the wedding party relaxing with a glass of Champagne in hand, surrounded by bubbles. This would be fabulous for an outdoorsy, country-style wedding, or an intimate family gathering.
